On Wednesday we took a field trip to Cryotherapy. I heard about the treatment from one of the teachers I work with, but that's all I was exposed to. I liked how we did some of the research beforehand because I like to have a bit more information before I do things. Online it sounded really cool, and so I was very excited the morning of. A group of us started with the NormaTec and it felt really good relieving the soreness I had from my run the day before. I started with the legs, then did the hips one, and they both were great. After that it was time to get dressed into the aquashoes and get into the chamber. It was hard to watch people before you drop out early because then you have that in your brain going in. They didn't change the height of the chamber, so I had to stand with my shoulders and arms up higher. The first minute was the worst, but it got a lot better when we Olivia started joining the conversation. I finished the 3 minutes, almost tripped down the stairs, and was shaking all over. Finally I warmed up a bit, but my skin was so red. All and all, it was a great experience and I would consider going back.
