This was an exciting week! We got to learn about some of the medical tools and instruments that a Sports Medicine Trainer would use. It was so interesting to find things out on our own, and research about them. Kennedy and I studied ice and cryotherapy, we discovered the importance of icing an injury and when to ice. I really enjoyed exploring the SM lab, and trying out some of the equipment.

I also got to meet my classmates on a more deeper meaning. We played the question game while passing around the bowl, and that game broke more of the ice for our class.

We had med terms this week, but in a different location. I found it fun planning the future med terms, and the thought of helping others. I cannot wait to teach, and help facilitate that.

Finally we went on our field trip to MidAmerica Nazarene University. I loved the small groups that we had, and everything I learned from it. Especially we got to incerent Diabetes needles into this fake flappy skin. This field trip was really fun, and I learned so much from it.
