With the snow days lingering, and a three day week was upon us, there still was a chance to learn. On Monday we had our instruction to SIM Lab, and what it's all about. I enjoyed hearing a few differences that there will be from FOM to Sports Med. I can't wait till our SIM Lab day!

On Tuesday we researched about a heat related illness, and I did a Heat Stroke. It was so interesting to find out the differences in each illness. After that we taped each others ankles, and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. Finally, I started my professional powerpoint over the job of a Nurse Practitioner. I still am indecisive if I want to be a Physician's Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or a Nurse Anesthetist. Anyway, I plan to start with just my nursing degree.

Our last day for the week was Wednesday. We started with the SIM Lab presentation on our CPR skills, followed by some videos. Then the Scoop Stretcher was pulled out, and we got to experience with that. It was so cool to learn how to use it, and attach and detach it. Long Story Short, I was watching this Britain 1 hour medical show on Netflix, and they used a Scoop Stretcher. I thought it was cool how I got to use one of those.
