I was out of town on Monday and Tuesday, so I started my week at CAPS on Wednesday. I read over the article about Hurricane Katrina, and was amazed on how the patients were treated. Ms. Fullbrights brother came in to talk about his job, and it was very interesting to find out what he does. I enjoyed his presentation, and thought it was well worth the time. We also worked on our student-made SIM Labs where Fred Fries had two injuries. I made the powerpoint to present for Ticket to SIM, and same with the worksheet.

On Thursday we had Med Terms and the returns group made the quizlet. It was so nice having the help to do so. We presented our Ticket to SIM where our patient had two injures, but we gave everyone 4 injuries. Which were a fracture to the Metacarpal or GameKeeper's thumb; and a Fracture to the Tibia or a high ankle sprain.

On Friday we did our SIM Lab and it went great. We thought we prepared the group enough for the SIM, and taught it enough for them to get the jist of it.
